The Nacra F18 can be equipped with an integrated lightweight aluminium selftacking jib-rail on the frontbeam that allows race-crews to tack and gybe faster during racing. Furthermore the F18 features a high aspect Performance-Sails sailplan with an asymmetric spinaker and a custom designed aluminium mast section. The daggerboards and rudders are high aspect ratio for blistering upwind performance. The deck layout has been kept clean, straightforward and efficient and the uniquely shaped high performance hulls allow the boat to be driven hard in rough conditions. Since its introduction Nacra F18 is already a big hit in Europe - a market that demands the fastest production boats. The F18 racingclass has always been a development class and therefore Nacra always will be on top of designing and research to provide its sailors with the fastest product available.
